Hydrangea Breeders Association (HBA) is a textbook example of a succesful cooperation between Agriom and two partners. The specialiation of each partner has contributed to the innovation, the development and the succesful introduction of products.
HBA’s breeding objectives are numerous; short production time, excellent branching, easy flower induction, attractive flower heads, flowering time and of course consumer value.
Specific product lines for market segments are being developed. For example: for production in tropical regions we make the AAA-series. And for use of hydrangea as a garden plant we develop varieties that bloom on 1-year-old wood, like for instance our well-known Diva Fiore.
